2024 Camp Information

We are so excited to have Camp this summer! We have 4 weeks planned this summer for campers aged 4 to 12 years old, each with a different theme. Every day will include breakfast, lunch, crafts, horse back riding and swimming sessions and lots of other fun and educational activities. We will also emphasize health and wellness throughout the activities - as we do in all the programs we offer.

 
 

Dates for 2024:

  • Week 1 –  June 17-21

  • Week 2 – June 24-28

  • Week 3 – July 8-12

  • Week 4 – July 15-19

 
CAMPER Application

  • Eligible Campers include children 4 to 12 year olds. (Child must be 4 years old on or before June 16, 2024)

  • If you have a special needs child, then please call Whole Kids Outreach.

  • Breakfast (optional) starts at 8:00 am and camp hours are from 9:00 am till 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • To help us all stay healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak, we will comply with the CDC recommendations for masks, social distancing and hand washing. You'll receive a parent handbook with more information in your registration packet, which will be mailed to you before camp begins.

  • WKO does not discriminate against anyone because of race, religion, national origin, sex, physical or mental disability, or age.

  • All camp fees must be paid NO LATER THAN Monday morning of the week that your child is registered to attend.

  • To register your child to attend camp this summer, for each child:

    • fill out a web-based form by clicking on the Camp Interest Form button below, or

    • register by phone by calling WKO at 573-663-3257, or

    • request a paper copy of the Camp Interest Form, by emailing info@wholekidsoutreach.org

  • More details about the camp will be sent with your confirmation notice to let you know which week(s) your child is eligible to attend. 

COUNSELOR Application

WKO is now accepting applications for staff to work at Camp Whole Kids 2024. 

DUE DATE: Applications are due May 15, 2024 at 3 PM. 

Application Methods

  1. Fill out the application and submit online.

  2. Print out application and fill in by hand
    Click on WKO Camp Employee Application. A pdf of the application will open in your browser in a new tab. Print out the application and fill in by hand. Drop off your completed application at WKO, or email your completed form to info@wholekidsoutreach.org.

  3. Get an application directly from WKO
    Come by WKO (62143 Hwy. 21, Ellington, MO 63638) — but call first to make sure someone is there (573-663-3257). Or request a paper copy of the application by emailing info@wholekidsoutreach.org. Drop off your completed application at WKO, or email your completed form to info@wholekidsoutreach.org.


Interviews

Interviews will be conducted in person at WKO. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule your interview date. Preference will be given to local applicants. Also, this year we will not offer any housing options for out of town staff.  Applicants may or may not be invited to give an interview.


Orientation Week

In addition to the 4 weeks of camps, counselors are expected to attend a week of orientation June 10-14.
